Had superior bungalow. Picturesque husband but from what was described as Hansel and Gretel cottage. The decor a little tired - but on reflection he had a huge bed, large bathroom with good shower, air conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, fridge.
I had no hot water faucet in the sink, a challenge to wash through things. Solution - invested in the local cube - filled with hot water shower - problem solved. Breakfast was better than expected, but appear to vary the occupancy of the hotel, but more acceptable.
Hotel on the beach - ideal for front and main road. Easy to get taxis. Noted that the most expensive hotels Klong prau new round had long distance on the road. Would not have been good for us. Plaza has a good local places to eat within walking distance. Hut on the beach near the hotel has excellent food and cocktails. (Hotel is probably not happy with this).
Trips to White Sands on the night in a taxi 50 baht per person each way - in Klong Prau. 100 baht to Ban Baou - base to ensure that all boats - however - it closes early at night - so unless you want an afternoon of sea food - be sure to do during the day. Klong Prau cascade easily reached by taxi - with few steps. It's worth the visit.
It is a very nice place, very friendly staff, clean room clair. We have no problems in our vacation. The area is very beautiful, lots of flowers and trees. We lived in a building. The room overlooks the garden and the sea. The breakfasts are very diverse, with a large selection of hot dishes of Thai cuisine.
The weather was nice, there was rain, but it's hot. The water temperature was about 30 degrees. There is also a good center in the hotel spa. It is a great place to relax. I felt like I visited paradise. |
