After staying in bungalows in Koh Chang for a few days, I moved to Nature Beach Resort and was really impressed. Bungalows cost between 250THB-300THB
The bungalows were built in the last year and are really beautiful and sturdy. The beds are new, comfortable mattresses on a raised wooden platform, and offered to clean the nets in good condition. All rooms have a ceiling fan and windows on all walls to provide a good breeze and ventilation. The bathroom was my favorite part of the bugalow, attached and embedded into the back of the bungalow, there is a basin sink, clean western style toilet and a shower that feels incredible to be under a waterfall.
The owner also plays very well in all the bungalows as decorative lamps or the use of large pieces of slate and to build the floating bathroom counters. The main deck / recording / restaurant is large, airy and offers a stunning view of the ocean. The staff is also very useful, easy and fun.
The only drawback is that we need a little walk to get to the beach, but also a bit of exercise in what would otherwise lazy, self-indulgent days. Just bring a flashlight if you plan to be out at night around the new moon.
To find the Nature Beach Resort, when you get to Koh Chang from the ferry, tell the tuk tuk driver who wants to go to Lonely Beach. On the south side of the beach there are shops and restaurants on the main road. You should see the yellow and black sign for the Nature Beach Resort of the road before reaching the "7 Days" convenience store. It is up the hill about 20 meters from the road.
